It would be great for a 3 year old or smaller child. Try modifying a ready made apron for a larger child. Having bought this same apron online twice before, I was dismayed to have the apron arrive without the adorable packaging. In this situation, presentation was not everything, but the gift's impact upon opening was certainly diminished. It is a precious gift.
