Summary: Great Educational And Entertainment System
Comment: I bought this for my twin daughters' first birthday, and they absolutely love it, even now at 16 months. It holds up well to both playing on it at the same time...tossing it on the floor, and yes, even standing on it. Needless to say, it's very durable. The programs are great as well. The first level, that just pops up random animations whenever a key is pressed is always fun, and the images are so cute. Plus, they love the music!!! The second level, is probably the weakest, and not as engaging as the other two, but it can still help teach numbers, letters, and shapes. But, the third level is my favorite. It's almost a story-like atmosphere, where the action follows your child's typing, and then the program asks your child to input another specific key to make something else happen. It's pretty fun. My only complaints would be that I wish the keyboard actually attached to your keyboard instead of just sitting over top of it, and I wish it had an auto-off feature to close the program after a period of inactivity. Right now, it asks if you're ready to quit after a few minutes of inactivity, but the music and sound-effects playing in the background while you're trying to change diapers or put kids down for a nap gets a little old after awhile.

Summary: Horrible Keyboard design makes this toy annoying for parents.
Comment: I've had this product for over a year now and I can say with full certainty that it is an extremely enjoyable product for young children. My son who was 11 months old when he got it and had fun pounding on the keys and as he has developed he has continued to enjoy the game. Now that he is almost 2 years old he plays on the highest level and responds to the games prompting. When it tells him to push the "P" key to play Volleyball, he responds by pushing the correct key. It is the same when prompted to press the blue circle to sing a song. To put it simply, my son is learning and having fun with this product still after extensive use.

Now for the problem. The keyboard on this game does not connect to the computer in any way. It simply sits over a regular keyboard and when a button is pressed it pushes a peg down the pushes a key on the regular computer keyboard. If you have a special keyboard or a laptop, then this product is unusable. I happen to have a very thin keyboard and it takes me sometimes 20 minutes of frustration to get the game keyboard properly placed. Also, my keyboard sits on a slide out tray in a computer cabinet. This makes it even more difficult to place because the feet on this keyboard end up not fitting on the tray. So, once I do get it placed it is still pretty easy to knock off of alignment. These frustrations make it so I cringe every time my son asks to play this game. If this item had a USB keyboard it would have made it much more useful and much less frustrating.

Summary: BEST BUY EVER.
Comment: I am so glad I bought this toy. My son is almost three years old and is fascinated with computers. He simply adores this toy, it is very interactive and the colours and sounds really keep his attention. The beauty about this toy is that it gives you the opportunity to spend time with your child doing something that is both fun and educational.
