Summary: Great for developing walking skills, not much else
Comment: Like probably most other parents, we purchased this for our toddler to aid her in developing walking skills. The car is well-suited for this. She enjoys pushing it around the house, and the practice she obtained from it has paid off.

Assembly was straightforward. Just make sure to follow the directions.

The only downside I see to this toy is that due to its size, once your toddler begins walking and grows a little larger, it will no longer get as much use (if it gets any at all).

Summary: Fun toy
Comment: I love Little Tikes products. I've never had a problem with them. You want your children's toys to last, and all three of my girls have been able to play with this.

My three-yr-old loves this.

Summary: One of our best toy investments
Comment: I rarely review products, but I feel very strongly about this one. We purchased ours almost 5 years ago in the hopes that it would help our son learn to walk. It did! Almost instantly, he was willing to let go of the coffee table and use the car to get around. He then enjoyed years of riding it, using it as a "stroller" for stuffed animals, and using it as a wheelbarrow for everything else. My second child also used it to learn to walk and rides it all the time. My firstborn, who is now 5.75, will still climb on and race around the house. We have used in indoors and out. All of the neighbor children love it as well. I think it makes a fantastic first birthday present- one that a child will use frequently and for a loooong time.

Summary: What a hit!
Comment: Our son started walking at 9 months. Today he is almost 18 months old, and pushing this racer around remains one of his favorite things to do. Like any boy, he enjoys playing with other toys including cars, balls, toy tools, real phones, etc., but this seems to be the funnest thing in the whole wide world. When he gets tired, he sits on it and loves to be pushed around on it.

We have found this to be just right: not too heavy, not too light; not too short, not too tall; not flimsy.

For our son, it's fabulous. For us there is only one drawback - when we must push him around on it, it's too short for us to do it without hurting our backs. I wish it had some form or detachable arm that I could snap on easily and then push him around. However, I wouldn't deduct points for that.

Summary: My kid loves it, but assembly was a problem
Comment: My son really loves riding and pushing this toy around, and we wanted something very simple without flashing lights or buttons.

The major drawback was that assembly was a little tricky by itself, but it was made worse by the fact that some holes weren't drilled into the plastic (after reading some reviews I'm not the only one.) Hope you feel comfortable drilling your own!

Winner of the 1998 Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold Seal AwardThe high spoiler on this sporty toddler-mobile provides a sturdy handle for a child's first steps. The high back and easy-grip handlebar also help to keep young riders steady. A low seat makes it easy for toddlers to get on and off. Measures approximately 22" x 10" x 17".
